The HOLISTIC Page
Align your higher self.
I did the course "Ignite Your Spirit" with Kim Fraser
which is based on her first book of the same name.
It is about your energy anatomy, which includes
your chakras and your aura. These are the
antennae through which you can receive the voice
of your Higher Self. Your chakras [energy centres]
affect your desires, talents, personality factors,
health, and they can either help or hinder you in
every area of life.

I use Kim's Healing Method to help people who
recognize that their body also contains an etheric
body [your aura] that is not visible and is not made
of physical material. We all know, although we
can't see it, that we need air to breath in. Well we
also need energy or life force, again you can't see
it but you can be made to feel it. During our life we
produce obstacles and inbalances in our energy
system. As mentioned in the "Remedial Therapy"
web-page where it said that the "Qi" [energy] of
illness should be transformed to a healthier "Qi".

Of course you have to give permission and be
willing to listen and understand what the procedure
is about and what it contains. Although religion
does not come into it as such, you must understand
that you have a higher self, a spiritual entity, which
is in contact with the spiritual world we can't see.
To remove obstacles you have to be comfortable to
accept help from your Creator and his system. If
you are still reading this and are interested
please visit Kim's website.

KIM FRASER
Kim Fraser is a spiritual teacher with a difference.
She holds degrees in law and economics, and was
a trade consultant, then practiced law as a barrister
for over 16 years. Kim has been teaching spirituality
and life skills for over 7 years. In January 2002
she retired from law to focus fully on life
enrichment programs and has established a
seminar series, "The Path of Ease and Grace".

Kim created The Harmony Centre at Cooranbong
NSW, which is a place where people can be free to
explore the meaning of life and their spirituality in
a safe environment. It is non-religious and
non-sectarian. I did the course "Ignite Your Spirit"
with her at her centre. Kim's website.

What are the Dances of Universal peace ?
Music, movement, song and chants are the
universal forms of human expression bringing
communities together at times of celebration and
enriching everyday life.

The Dances of Universal peace are a profound,
cross-cultural way to touch spiritual essence
through group meditation. Using sacred phrases,
chants, music and movement from the many
sacred traditions of the earth, the dances promote
peace and integration personally and across the
globe.

Organic or not Organic that is the
question. And all the bullshit we get
 bombarded with.
For the continuous education of the remedial
therapy accreditation, this year, we are attending
lectures in Clinical Nutrition. They are informative
and especially compiled for us stating the true facts
as no sponsorships or companies are involved. I thought
my clients may benefit from some of this information,
however I just came across the following article that
gives a better overview of what I was going to convey.
Please read the following article, which was published
in "The Revive Weekly" on June 6th 2006.
Will a healthy diet deliver the nutrition a
human need?
There is a fascinating parallel between a healthy,
disease-resistant plant and a healthy, disease-resistant
human. Essentially they both require the same things -
minerals and microbes. We could conceivably replace all
the missing minerals in the soil, in the correct ratios,
but still fail to achieve the desired plant growth
response. Soil biology can be the missing link in the
equation. 30,000 different organisms should be present in
a single gram of fertile soil. If this critical 'microbe bridge'
has been bombed with chemicals and acid fertilizers
then nutrient up take will be limited, regardless of
remineralising efforts.
Similarly, human gut organisms should number 100
trillion (ten times the total number of cells in our body).
This army of minuscule allies performs a similar role to
microbes in the soil. They protect and they facilitate
mineral up take. (Issue #5, June 6th 2006). It is also
unproductive to remineralise the human body in the
absence of an efficient microbe bridge. Minerals and
microbes should always be addressed together in both
plant and human health. 'Alternative' medicine (including
mineral supplements) now accounts for 55% of the
Australian health dollar, yet there are huge numbers of
people who still believe that a healthy, balanced diet will
deliver all the nutrition they need. Lets look a little closer
at that premise
There is obviously more to optimum human nutrition than
minerals. What about vitamins, antioxidants, fatty acids,
enzymes and phyto-nutrients (beneficial plant
compounds)? The thing to understand here is that all of
these other factors are dependent upon minerals.
Minerals are the only thing that can not be produced by
plants, animals or humans. Leading US Nutritionist,
Phyllis Balch, said it well during her interview for my
book 'Nutrition Rules'. She stated that "supplementing
with any other nutrients in the absence of minerals is like
going fishing with out bait". Every bodily function is
linked to a mineral and all other nutrients are mineral
dependent
The soil is the original source of minerals and plants are
the designated vehicles for mineral delivery to animals
and humans. This is why the bioavailability of plant-
derived minerals is 98%. We were supposed to get our
minerals from plants rather than the chemist shop
shelves.
Minerals sponsor the production of the other things we
need, like vitamins, amino acids, enzymes etc. Kelp,
for example, contains the highest levels of vitamins, amino
acids and natural hormones of any plant and consequently
these marine plants can grow at rates exceeding 30cm
per day. The amazing nutrient density of seaweed is
derived from the plant's mineralrich ocean habitat. If
minerals are the key stone of all nutrition, then how does
the mineralisation of our contemporary soils and plants
compare to those of our grand parents' generation? Will a
good, balanced diet fuel our immune system and keep us
happy and healthy?

cent of the leaf tests reveal calcium deficiencies. Calcium
in the soil and in the human body is linked to the uptake of
all minerals. When "calcium - the trucker of all minerals" is
eficient, all other minerals are affected. Magnesium, zinc,
manganese, boron and silica are also deficient in many
leaf tests and there are also numerous excesses in these
analyses, most notably nitrogen, phosphorus and
potassium (NPK). It is important to understand that, just
as key mineral ratios in the soil determine plant health,
there are equally important ratios involved in human well-
being. The sodium to potassium ratio, calcium to
phosphorus ratio and calcium to magnesium ratio are
three key examples. In 1940 our food crops contained the
ideal calcium to phosphorus ratio of two to one. Now that
particular ratio has tightened in to a one to one ratio, due
to the all-prevailing over use of NPK and the decline of
calcium. These new ratios are having profound effects on
our body chemistry. We therefore need to be more
stringent with the supplements we are using and the food
we are putting into our bodies to reach optimal nutrition
today.

More Organic or not Organic that is the
question. Our body took thousands of years to evolve,
and over the last thousands years has changed very little.
Our brain has not changed very much either. Neither have
our cellular requirements, which are very specific. Hence,
the conditions for our internal environment inside our body
like the cells and the circulatory system which contain
blood cells, leukocytes, platelets, proteins, chemicals,
and plasma and more has not changed much. However
our external environment has changed a great deal over
the last fifty years. Only some of this has been good.
We live longer, but we also die longer.
We do not produce the foodstuff we harvested hundreds
of years ago, which may have been alright had our body
evolved and produced the specific alterations in our cells
and brain center to combat for the nutrition we produce
today. But it has not done so and hence there is a
problem. If we have all the needed food for our cell but
there is one element missing our cell cannot produce the
required structure it was specified to do. Our nutrition is
mineral dependant and those minerals cannot be
produced by plants, animals and humans. The soil is the
original source of minerals and plants are the designated
vehicles for mineral delivery. Some of us are eager to
make sure the content of the food package provides
the correct nutritional values. But what we also have
to know is what did the plant eat and drink!
We should now be aware that the external environment
has changed over the years and this effect the nutrition of
our more or less static internal environment. Many of us
are also becoming slowly aware that the climate has and
is changing and that the farming practice and the food
processing are often not in the best interest to provide us
with a healthy nutrition so much longed for and lacking in
our body's internal climate. You are the only person you
can force to demand better practises and hopefully
influence others.
